The Evolv Phantom is the pinnacle shoe in their lineup, designed in-house by their R&D team in collaboration with renowned climbers Daniel Woods and Paul Robinson. This ultra-performance shoe utilizes a variety of proprietary technologies to create a powerful and sensitive shoe designed for your hardest climbing.

The shoe's upper is constructed with SYNTHETIC (SYNTHRATEK VX) material, which provides a durable and versatile fit. The NEOFLEX technology is integrated into the knuckle box, a two-way stretch neoprene laminate that allows the box to expand when flexed and actively rebound when not, alleviating hot spots over the knuckles and maintaining performance and fit over time.

Evolv's TPS+ (Tension Power System Plus) features a TPS rubber midsole that maintains the shoe's downturned toe profile, combined with an extra wing for enhanced arch support. Additionally, the AVT (Abridged Variable Thickness) plastic midsole provides greater toe sensitivity while still maintaining the optimal amount of support and structure where needed most.

The Phantom's standout closure system is the Compression Closure System (CCS), an advanced 6-point single-pull closure with double D-ring and hook-and-loop fasteners, securing the foot in a superb fit.

The shoe's sole is made entirely of RUBBER, with the TRAX SAS outsole providing the best friction plus maximum durability. The MOLDED VTR (Variable Thickness Rand) system strategically places thinner rand rubber in areas to reduce pressure points and hot spots around the foot, while thicker rubber is used in high-wear zones near the toe for increased durability and performance.

Rounding out the features is the DARK SPINE S (sensitive) heel, which combines the Dark Spine midsole with a thinner 2mm heel outsole to provide the optimal structure and sensitivity for technical heel-hooking.
